How are our IQ Green Solutions produced?
Our company uses ECA Technology to produce all our products with state of the art machinery. ECA refers to Electro Chemical Activation: a process whereby Meta stable solutions are produced which have undergone treatment from an electrode. The system uses only water, salt and electricity.
A brine solution is fed through a patented cell in our machinery. Inside the cell, the brine solution is activated with an electrical charge and separated producing two solutions:
Ano-Lyte™ and Catho-Lyte™
What is Ano-Lyte:
Ano-LyteTM is the world’s most effective NON CHEMICAL DISINFECTANT available and is used to eliminate all types of bacteria, micro-bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores and microbial toxins. There are no hazardous compounds in its composition and is 100% safe to use virtually anywhere.
The active ingredient responsible for its broad spectrum antimicrobial capabilities is Hypochlorous solution (HOCl) which exists within a narrow pH range (4.5-6.5). HOCl is a weak natural acid produced by white blood cells of all mammals. It is a natural germ killer formed by our immune systems to combat harmful pathogens that tend to make us sick. It’s nature’s own disinfectant.
HOCl has a proven to be highly effective in killing many variants of bacteria, viruses, spores and fungi as well as neutralizing microbial toxins. It works by attacking and destroys vital cellular components and enzymes of these microorganisms. It is also proven that it’s very effective against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a highly resistant bacteria to commonly used antibiotics.
IQ Green Solutions utilizes refined ECA technology by which the pH levels of produced solutions are controlled with great accuracy. We produce quality HOCl with low mineralization and also ensure the formation of less unwanted chlorine compounds during storage. Although HOCl has a chorine-like odour, it is not chlorine bleach. HOCl is 100 – 300 times more superior to sodium hypochlorite (Bleach) in terms of germicidal activity while retaining its gentle characteristics.
What is Catho-Lyte?
As a by-product in the process of producing Ano-LyteTM, a sodium based detergent called Catho-LyteTM is also produced.
Water has a high surface tension because the water molecules on the surface are pulled together by strong hydrogen bonds. This causes the water to bead on a surface and not fully spread out. In the cleaning process, surface tension must be reduced so that the water can spread and wet surfaces.
Catho-LyteTM is a natural, green and environmentally friendly detergent that can be used for general cleaning of equipment, surfaces and textiles. It is very effective in lowering the surface tension, dissolving proteins and fat.
The active ingredient is sodium hydroxide (NaOH) which is the chemical equivalent of a caustic soda, yet it is completely natural.
The concentration levels of active compounds present in Catho-LyteTM poses no health risks. Catho-LyteTM is a mild duty non foaming detergent to be used as an all-purpose cleaner.

ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
ALL PURPOSE CLEANER is a mild ALL PURPOSE detergent which doesn’t foam, but can be used to clean all kinds of materials and surfaces.
For general cleaning: Spray ALL PURPOSE CLEANER onto surfaces and wipe with a clean cloth. No rinse required.
For floors: Mix 1 litre (20%) of ALL PURPOSE CLEANER in 4 litres (80%) clean water and mop the floor. Alternatively, spray ALL PURPOSE CLEANER directly onto the floor and mop as usual, while rinsing the mop in clean water at intervals.
For stain removal: Spray area liberally with ALL PURPOSE CLEANER and let soak for 5-10 minutes. Blot with a clean, dry towel/cloth until stain is removed.
POWER CLEANER
POWER CLEANER is a strong soap that foams and can be used to clean all kinds of materials and surfaces. It is a strong degreaser and should be used if the ALL PURPOSE CLEANER isn’t powerful enough.
For general degreasing: Spray POWER CLEANER onto any surface and wipe with a clean cloth.
For ovens: Spray POWER CLEANER onto heated oven surface, let it stand for 30 minutes. Wipe with a clean cloth when oven is cooled down.
For Dishes: Mix 20% of POWER CLEANER in 80% clean water. Wash dishes and rinse with clean water.
For stain removal: Spray area liberally with POWER CLEANER and let soak for 5-10 minutes. Blot with a clean, dry towel/cloth until stain is removed.
WINDOW CLEANER
WINDOW CLEANER is a mild surface cleaner suitable for ALL glass surfaces including WINDOWS, MIRRORS AND GLASSES.
Spray WINDOW CLEANER onto glass surfaces and wipe with a clean cloth. Polish with a microfiber cloth to achieve maximum shine.
Ideal for general cleaning of windows, mirrors, shower doors, glass surfaces, delicate items, etc.
STERILANT
STERILANT is a strong sanitizer suitable to sterilise all areas containing a high concentrations of germs. Can be used on surfaces to sterilize and kill all infectious causing microorganisms in high risk areas.
Kitchen: STERILANT can be used to cold sterilize cutting knives, cooking utensils and cutlery.
Bathroom: To disinfect, STERILANT can be poured/sprayed into toilet bowl prior to scrubbing and after degreasing with ALL PURPOSE CLEANER.
WARNING: STERILANT can stain textiles and can be corrosive to metals when exposed to the product for more than 10 minutes.
DISINFECTANT
DISINFECTANT can be used to disinfect everyday objects, surfaces and high touch areas. It can also be used to remove bad odours.
General Disinfection: Spray DISINFECTANT onto degreased and cleaned surfaces and let air dry or wipe with a clean cloth.
Kitchen: To prevent the spread of food borne pathogens or cross contamination, spray DISINFECTANT on cutting boards and counters and let air dry. Repeat after every use.
Bathroom: Spray onto the exterior of toilets, degreased basins and showers. Wipe with a clean cloth. No rinsing required.
IQ CARE EYELID CLEANSER
IQ CARE EYELID CLEANSER is designed for the cleansing and removing of germs and debris to promote good eye hygiene. This product effectively cleans the eyelid and eyelashes by removing crusting and secretions which are common symptoms of Blepharitis and Dry Eye syndrome. The active ingredient – HOCl, is powerful yet gentle to destroy all infectious causing germs in the external areas of the eye and is suitable for all skin types.
