The products outperformed competitive gear oils in both the FE-8 bearing test and the FVA54 micropitting test.
FE-8 BEARING & FVA54 MICROPITTING TEST
To illustrate the performance of this product line, in the FE-8 test ProOne’s gear oil left wear of only 0.5mg while the competitive gear oil was 186mg after the prescribed 80 hours. The test was run for a further 80 hours and the ProOne wear remained the same at 0.5mg while the competitive product left wear of 337mg.
In addition, the gear oil products handle shock and heavy loads in continuous performance applications, superior thermal stability and reduced gear box temperatures to prevent sludge build-up. The resulting benefits are extended oil life, more reliability and less downtime, and ultimately lower cost of ownership. Both conventional and synthetic versions are available in a wide range of ISO’s.
